We welcome the public to our living room on March 11, Wednesday, from 3:00 to 4:00 pm to listen to the stories of Maine author and historian, Lea Wait.
In 1998 Lea left corporate life to live in Maine, run an antique print business and write full time. Lea has written children’s historical novels in nineteenth century Maine, a seven-book Shadows Antique Print Mysteries series for adults and more recently the Mainely Needlepoint series of mysteries. What Lea remembers most about growing up was wanting to learn everything. She read historical novels and went to auctions and antique shows with her grandmother, who was an antique doll and toy dealer, and pretended she lived in the past. Join us to learn more about what inspires the engaging stories of this Edgecomb author.
The Lincoln Home is located at 22 River Road, Newcastle.
