- Join the YMCA in this year’s Penguin Plunge on New Year’s Day.
- Hot Tuna performs at the Opera House Sunday, Jan. 5
- Take a ride on the North Pole Express at the Railway Village December 14 & 21.
- Community Potluck and Carol Sing, Wednesday, Dec. 18.
- Santa at the Boothbay Common, Saturday, Nov. 30 at 6 p.m.
- Community Band joins Boothbay Region High School Band & Chorus, Tuesday, Dec. 3 at 7 p.m.
- The Garden Club’s Festival of Trees, Friday-Sunday, Dec. 6-8
- Historical Society Open House, Saturday, Dec. 7, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- The Dough Ball, Friday, Dec. 13 at 7 p.m.
- 7th annual Gingerbread Spectacular, Saturday, Dec. 14, starts at 10 a.m.
- Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens’ annual Christmas Market is on Saturday, Dec. 14.
- Hanging of the Greens, Christmas Eve church services and more at the Wiscasset First Congregational Church.

- Feed Our Scholars Christmas bake sale is on Saturday, Dec. 21 at Ames Supply.
- Teddy bear sleepover at the Wiscasset Community Center on Friday, Dec. 6, starts at 6:30 p.m. More info: 207-882-8230.
- Santa, Rudolph and Frosty are due to arrive by boat at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 7, as part of a 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. celebration at the Wiscasset Commercial Pier. Plans call for fire pits, horse-drawn carriage rides, children's activities and nonprofits selling hot refreshments.
- Also on Saturday, Dec. 7, at 4:30 p.m., is the tree-lighting on the town common, in front of the First Congregational Church of Wiscasset.
- Downeast Brass performs a Christmas Concert at St. John’s Church in Dresden Village Sunday, Dec. 8 at 3 p.m.
- St. Philip’s Christmas Craft Fair (crafters wanted!) is on Saturday, Dec. 14, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

- Holiday Guitar Night at the Lincoln Theater on Saturday, Dec. 28 at 7 p.m.
- Carol Sing and Tree Lighting at the Lincoln Home in Newcastle, Wednesday, Dec. 11, 4 p.m.
- Holiday Art Sale at Seven Waters Studio in Damariscotta, Saturday, Dec. 7 and Sunday, Dec. 8 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Bath & Brunswick
- Join in the bonfire and champagne toast at the shipyard from 6-10 p.m. on New Year’s Eve.

This eye-catching fundraiser is put on by the Garden Club at the Boothbay Opera House from Friday through Sunday, Dec. 6-8.
Come see decorated trees and bid on your favorite to raise money for the Garden Club.
Proceeds will go toward the club’s civic development projects, personal enrichment courses for gardeners, YMCA camperships, garden therapy programs at St. Andrews Village, gardening programs for community youth and other community outreach endeavors.
Admission is free!
