Whether providing comic relief, empathy for others, or new information and entertainment, books can do it all! The winter used book selections at Southport Memorial Library include paperback and hard-cover fiction and classics, DVDs, and CDs. In non-fiction books you will find cookbooks, memoirs, history, religion, poetry, travel, sports and craft books.

Four large stacks of bargain-priced used books are found on the second floor of the Library, at the tip of Southport Island. Come browse and stock up on your favorite authors or drop off donations of gently read books.

Revised winter hours are: Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Thursday evening 6-8 p.m.
