Lisa Van Dyk of the Boothbay Region YMCA and Neal Verge, former camp director, invite all former counselors and staff of YMCA Camp Knickerbocker, along with their families, to the Alumni Reunion on Saturday, July 1 from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the camp on Barters Island Road, Boothbay.

Reconnect with old friends and enjoy reliving camp traditions including flagpole ceremony, swimming and boating at the Lake Knickerbocker waterfront, and exploring the Baldwin Adventure Center. A free catered lunch will be served by Cod’s Head Fish House and Barbecue. Musical entertainment is being provided by Dave Gagne.

“It will be nice to see old friends and co-workers again,” said Verge.

Van Dyke announced in March that two former international counselors from the Netherlands will be attending, Jacoline Kraan van der Plas and Jolanda van Hulst.
