Boothbay Harbor needs four volunteers to serve on its budget committee for the upcoming fiscal year. When full, the budget committee consists of seven members. Currently, there are three. “The committee can operate, but it's helpful to have more input,” said Town Manager Tom Woodin.

“Budget meetings are held on Wednesdays and end by the last of March, if not sooner,” Woodin said. The first meetings have been scheduled for Jan. 11 and 18, from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at the town offices. Interested applicants can call Town Clerk Michelle Farnham or Deputy Town Clerk Trish Fallon at 633-3671, or fill out an application at the Boothbay Harbor Town Offices at 11 Howard Street. The Board of Selectmen reviews the applications and makes formal appointments. Information can also be found on the town website.
