Car Care is a free, 21-point inspection of cars being provided by Boothbay Baptist Church on Saturday, Sept. 24, 8 a.m. to noon. It is an outreach geared especially to single moms, widows and those with financial need and a lack of vehicle knowledge.

Volunteers will check fluids, belts, hoses, shocks, tire pressure, lights, and more, and will provide car care coaching as to a vehicle’s needs. Fluids will be topped off while supplies last.

This is the time to make sure vehicles are ready for winter and safe.

There will be coffee and light snacks available for car owners while they wait.

This is an outreach offered by volunteers who are knowledgeable about car mechanics, but it is no substitute for professional service and no repairs will be provided.
