Boothbay Region Adult Ed’s Fall classes begin Oct. 11! The Fall brochure will be available early next week at the following locations: Hannaford, YMCA, Video Loft, Boothbay Harbor Memorial Library, Southport Memorial Library, town offices, any of the four schools, and other locations around the region. Be sure to sign up early so you don’t miss out on the class you want to take. As you view our brochure we hope you find a class that interests you. This Fall we are offering new cooking, craft, life skills, and other classes.
To register for Adult Ed courses complete the registration form in the brochure, or print one out from our website: boothbayae.org. Include payment and mail to: Boothbay Region Adult Ed, 236 Townsend Avenue, Boothbay Harbor, ME 04538. You can also drop off your registration and payment at the office at Boothbay Region High School on Townsend Avenue, weekdays.
Learning Center news
The Learning Center at Boothbay Region Adult Ed will begin the Fall semester on Tuesday, Sept. 20 from 6:15-8:15 p.m. The Learning Center is open on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Prep to take the HiSET exam to get your high school equivalency diploma, or improve your English, Math, Science, and Social Studies skills for college.
All services at the Learning Center are offered for free and there is no fee to take the HiSET exam. Getting your HiSETdiploma can open doors to college, new job opportunities and careers. The Learning Center also provides help for adults in preparation for enrolling or returning to college.
