We’re having a 'party' Wednesday, Sept. 21: The Origin of the Republican and Democratic parties.
It’s an election year! Learn how the Democratic and Republican parties became established and the events involved at this informative presentation by historian, Dane Hartgrove, Ph.D. After earning his Ph.D. in Russian History, Hartgrove led a fascinating and full career as a teacher, author, editor, and historian with the U.S. National Archives specializing in diplomatic history. The 'party' will be held from 5:30-6:30 p.m., in the upstairs Community Room. This is last session of the Current Issues & Foreign Relations Series.

NEW! Cancer Care Connect Support Series: first Tuesday of the month beginning Oct. 4, 10:30-11:30 a.m., upstairs Community Room through April 2017. The library welcomes you to join a series of online listening seminars covering a variety of topics related to cancer care, made available by the American Cancer Society. This informative series of audio seminars features a rotating panel of experts and invites cancer patients, their caregivers, survivors, family and friends to meet at 10:30 a.m, at the library. Coffee will be served.
