Volunteer once a month as a FISH driver
FISH needs volunteer drivers.
FISH is a free driving service available in the Boothbay region to those who are in need of a ride to and from appointments for medical treatment, doctors’ appointments, dental care, eye care, physical or vocational rehabilitation, or support groups.
Yes, you are needed to promote your neighbors’ quality of life. Simply assist them with rides to their local health providers. All you need is to do is provide us with your phone number and email address; we will do the rest.
You can expect a call or an email to drive someone to an appointment. You are not obliged to set aside any specific days of your busy week.

To receive a ride, community members should call 633-HELP 48 hours prior to the appointment and volunteer coordinators assist the resident. Donations are requested from the general community and no rider is requested to pay.
