The Boothbay Register and Wiscasset Newspaper are seeking a full-time reporter to cover Boothbay Harbor boards and school meetings, school events and news, organizations’ events and news, town events, spot news (fires, accidents) and one high school sport each season. Applicants with news journalism experience and/or a degree in journalism will be considered first. Experience with word processing, content management systems and social media will be key applicant considerations. Ability to work in a dynamic, distributed team environment with command of a journalistic writing style and positive, objective attitude are a must.
