Abigail Williams weds Edward Snell
Abigail Williams and Edward Snell, both of Portland, were wed on Saturday, Aug. 29, 2015 in Buxton at the Snell Family Farm.
The bride is the daughter of Berry Lancaster and the late Todd Williams of Boothbay Harbor. Abigail graduated from Boothbay Region High School and attended culinary school at Southern Maine Community College. She is employed as the baker and kitchen coordinator of the Snell Family Farm's commercial kitchen.
The groom is the son of Ramona and John Snell of Buxton. Edward attended the Maine Maritime Academy. He is employed as the chief mate of the Linda Moran, one of Moran Towing's tugboats out of New York Harbor.
Maid of Honor Audrey Hodgdon of East Boothbay is the bride's lifelong best friend and fellow graduate of Boothbay Region High School. Bridesmaids were close friends Nina Murray and Kelly Donohoe of Portland, Leah Champagne of Seattle, Washington and Meg Gray of Portland; and sister-in-law and friend Kale Williams of Brooklyn, New York.
Josh Delcourt of Buxton, the groom's best friend, was best man. Groomsmen (and hometown friends) were Curtis Dyer and Mike Pulsoni; Caleb Easton of Boothbay, Jon Davis of Portsmouth and “Groomswoman” Kate Mueller, standing in for her husband, Matt, of Portland.
Alex Williams of Brooklyn, New York, brother of the bride, officiated at the ceremony.
The reception was also held at the Snell Family Farm.
A honeymoon trip to St. John is planned for February 2016.
