Peters-Abrahams wedding
Rachel Peters and Logan Abrahams were married on Oct. 10 in a beautiful outdoor ceremony at the Woodruff-Fontaine House in Memphis, Tenn., with a reception following.
The groom’s brother in-law, Parker Tenent, who is a pastor at Independent Presbyterian Church of Memphis, officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Katie Scattergood of Boothbay Harbor and Jerry Peters of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The groom is the son of Beth and Joe Abrahams of Memphis, Tenn.
Maid of honor was Cathie Peters of Boothbay Harbor, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Amanda Porter of Portland, Kat Mullen of Portland, Whitney Plumpton of Memphis, Tenn. and Holly Whittle of Memphis, Tenn.
Best man was Joe Abrahams of Memphis, Tenn, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Ian Smith of Arlington, Va., William Pegg, Devin LaBarreare and Lawrence Russell, all of Memphis, Tenn.
The couple honeymooned in Greece and Spain.
Rachel is the director of chapter services for the Chi Omega Fraternity Executive Headquarters and is a 2007 graduate of the University of Maine. Logan is a regional account sales manager at the International Paper Global Headquarters and a 2005 graduate from Auburn University.
The couple lives in Memphis, Tenn.
