If you support a nonprofit on the Boothbay peninsula, we need you! If you are a member, volunteer, donor, staff member or advocate for any nonprofit in the Boothbay Region, please join us on Tuesday, Nov. 10 at 9 a.m. at Sherman Field, Boothbay Region High School for a community photo shoot. In preparation of Giving Tuesday, Boothbay Region Community Television will use its drone to get a visual of just how many community members give their time, expertise and dollars to support this community!

Giving Tuesday is globally recognized on the first Tuesday of December as a day to celebrate and encourage giving. Under the leadership of Valerie Young, an alliance of 37 nonprofit organizations of the Boothbay peninsula has formed to increase awareness of nonprofits in this region and encourage philanthropic giving on Giving Tuesday. The Boothbay peninsula is home to over 50 nonprofit organizations, supported by millions of donor dollars, which provide critical services to people locally and globally. Our nonprofits generate many jobs in the region and volunteer opportunities for all ages. The Boothbay peninsula is truly one of the most caring places to live.

So this Tuesday, Nov. 10, please take a few minutes of your day to join us at the Boothbay Region High School at 9 a.m. for this rare photo opportunity. Help us create an image to share with the world that illustrates just how many of us give ourselves to this community.
