LincolnHealth staff served a special “thank you” brunch to about 200 volunteers at St. Patrick’s Church in Newcastle on Thursday, Sept. 10.
LincolnHealth President James Donovan and Chairman of the Board Jeff Curtis thanked volunteers for the vital work they do to support staff and patients.
This year, volunteers gave more than 16,800 hours to LincolnHealth, working in 56 different position assignments and in 29 different service areas.
Donovan noted the monetary value of those hours is almost $400,000.
In addition, the Miles League and the St. Andrews Auxiliary gave more than $164,000 to directly support patient care.
