Dear Editor:

The following businesses made it possible to provide patrons a safe ride home on New Year's Eve: McSeagull’s, Pier One Pizza, Robinson's Wharf, Mr. C's, China By The Sea, Herringbone's, Boat House Bistro, Tiny's Taxi, Stan's Boothbay Taxi, Richard's Riverside, BoBo's Coastal Cabs and Federal Distributors.

Outside of a few people having to wait for a cab, the overall consensus was that the night was a success. For the fourth year in a row, there were no OUIs or alcohol-related accidents reported in Boothbay Harbor.

Once again, thank you all for your efforts and contributions to help keep the community safe.
