Dear Editor:

I want to sincerely thank you my friends, family members and neighbors for joining the birthday celebration for myself and my nephew, Larry Johnson. The outpouring of kindness, goodwill, and birthday wishes touched our hearts more than you could know.

Thank you to my daughter Kathy (and her “partners in crime”) for arranging to have the band Murky Water featuring Tim Sprague as the entertainment.

Thank you also for all those who contributed to the day by bringing food and drink, by helping with the decoration, set up and clean up, but mostly for taking the time to come and share part of the day with us. Thank you for the cards and gifts — they were not necessary but are truly appreciated.

It was a joy to see so many friends and family, to share fond memories and to make new ones. Thank you again for making this birthday one we will never forget.
