Dear Editor:

Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Where do I begin? I so very much appreciated the fantastic party that was given in my honor on Sunday, Oct. 12. I want to thank Rocktide Inn for hosting this spectacular event. Betsy, Daryl, Susan, Dusty, Jim, John and Jayne, and everyone else that had a hand in putting this retirement party together.

I am so blessed and I am truly humbled by so many, many wishes that were sent my way. It was so wonderful to talk with so many past and present employees, as well as so many, many friends.

As I enter this new phase of my very wonderful life, I just wish that everyone could say when they retire, that what they have been doing for the past years was never a job but a joy! This I can say with conviction.

Thank you again. I know I will be miss working in the hospitality business, but the time has come to move on.
