No injuries in minor Boothbay Harbor accident

A minor accident occurred the morning of Wednesday, Oct. 8 at the corner of Atlantic Avenue and Lobster Cove Road in Boothbay Harbor.
A white Ford Fusion, driven by Mark Keegan of Boothbay Harbor, was pulling out of Lobster Cove Road when it collided with the Volvo driven by Dorothy Ferrell of Boothbay Harbor.
The impact caused the front end of the Volvo to cave in and both airbags to deploy. The Fusion appeared to have less damage by the front left tire. Both vehicles were towed from the scene by Hawke Motors of Boothbay Harbor.
Neither driver was injured in the accident. Responding officers were Larry Brown and Nick Upham of the Boothbay Harbor Police Department. The Boothbay Harbor Fire Department and Boothbay Region Ambulance Service also responded.
“I was just running down the road to get donuts for the workers,” Ferrell said. “They'll be wondering where I am.”
