Congregational Church history event Oct. 30
Were you part of the Congregational Church of Boothbay Harbor any time between 1942 and 1965? If so, we need your help on Thursday, Oct. 30 at 10:30 a.m.
In preparation for the 250th Anniversary of the Church (2016), the church is preparing an in-depth church history. John “Jack” Bauman is preparing Chapter 9: “1942-1965 — War, Peace and Rebuilding” and would love your feedback.
Jack will present his findings between 10:30 and 11 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall and will welcome your feedback and questions between 11 and 11:30 a.m. Coffee, tea and snacks will be served.
If you know of someone who should be invited, please let Debi Wood know in the Congregational Church office: 207-633-4757.
John F. Bauman is former professor of history at the University of Pittsburgh and visiting research professor at the Muskie School of Public Service at the University of Southern Maine.
