Kamenstein children
Dear Editor:
The Kamenstein children of Treasure Island recently donated their time and energy into setting up a lemonade stand to benefit the library. There were cookies, brownies and grapes (for the health conscious!) for sale, as well as mints for everyone that contributed. Ella, Van, Jack and Kate donated all proceeds ($36.15) to the Children’s Room of Boothbay Harbor Memorial Library.
A lot of prep work went into the endeavor, like making posters and the goodies to sell. When business was slow, the children read some great books. A few of the books were “Wonder,” “Out of My Mind,” “Sunset of the Saber Tooth” and lots of books about sharks! Thank you to all involved for your hard work and generosity!
