The Boothbay Playhouse is a true gem and an asset to your community. We attended the current production of “Children of Eden.” It was amazing! The musical talent, dancing, costumes, choreography, directing and acting are so impressive. We agree whole heartedly with your paper's review that it is a "first-rate show" and were also "blown away by the performances delivered by this company's fine group of actors." It is a wonderful Broadway production at a fraction of the cost. We left the show moved and singing Stephen Schwartz’s (who also wrote the lyrics and music for Wicked, Pippin and many Disney movies) songs. We hope that others have a chance to be as entertained by such an amazing production before it closes on August 20. Enjoy!
