Dear Editor:

As of July 23, I have attended 900 shows at the Carousel Music Theater in Boothbay Harbor.

I've been going to the Carousel since 1979, averaging 25 shows a year. By 2004, I had attended 600 performances.

I am absolutely thrilled to be a member of the audiences and the love the young actors and actresses that perform there each year. The current show, “Once Upon A Time” is a must see. Many thanks to owner and producer Robb Barnard for reviving this wonderful dinner theater.

A special thanks to maestro Dominic Garvey for his many years as music director — and his piano playing at many other community establishments.

And now, I continue my quest to reach 1,000 shows … won't be this year!
