Wiscasset hosts playoff game

After months of work, it all comes to this:
State tournament time.
The Wiscasset High School boys varsity baseball team will have a 4 p.m. playoff game Wednesday, June 11 at home.
Wiscasset (7-9) was able to earn not only a playoff berth, but a home game to kick off the state tournament.
The fourth-ranked Wolverines will be paired up against fifth-seeded Valley High School (9-4).
Should the Wolverines win against the Bingham team, they won't have to travel too far, as Richmond (12-1) would be the next opponent.
That game would be at the top-seeded team’s home turf on June 14.
