A comedic adventure from one of the world’s most celebrated contemporary playwrights, Alan Ayckbourn, comes to the screen this week when we broadcast from London on Thursday.

Ayckbourn holds the record for having the most plays running simultaneously in the West End (five productions) and has received more than 35 major theater awards including an Olivier Special Award in 2009 and the Special Tony Award for Lifetime Achievement In Theater in 2010. Come enjoy an evening with a master from one of the world’s premiere theater companies.

Jack McCracken: a man of principle in a corrupt world. But not for long. Moments after taking over his father-in-law’s business he discovers his extended family to be thieves and adulterers, looting the business from their suburban homes. Rampant self-interest takes over and comic hysteria builds to a macabre climax. A riotous exposure of entrepreneurial greed by Olivier Award-winning playwright Alan Ayckbourn. Hearts Ever Young: “H.E.Y. On the Air”

With more than 50 members from all over the Midcoast area, Hearts Ever Young's 2014 program will celebrate songs, dances and comedy routines from the golden age of TV and radio. Plays Friday, June 13, Saturday, June 14 and Sunday, June 15 at 2 p.m.

“Fed Up”: 1 hour 32 minutes

For the past 30 years, everything we thought we knew about food and exercise is dead wrong. Fed Up is the documentary the food industry doesn't want you to see and may change the way you eat forever. Plays Friday, June 13, Saturday June 14, Sunday, June 15, Tuesday, June 17 and Wednesday, June 18 at 7 p.m. and Thursday June 19 at 2 and 7 p.m. Presented in partnership with Newcastle Square Realty Associates.

Annual meeting

Lincoln Theater’s annual meeting, with special guest Anna Eleanor Roosevelt, will take place Monday, June 23 at 7 p.m.
