Boothbay Harbor Used Bookstore now open
As surely as the spring flowers open, so does the Boothbay Harbor Used Bookstore! The porch of Hyde House is “blooming” with books you can buy 24/7 by using the “pay whatever you want” donation box. The store itself is open Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, 10:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
Volunteers have been busily working behind the scenes to fill the shelves anew with their best offerings. You’ll find the latest beach reads and mysteries, true crime, children’s books, cook books, and books about health, wellness, history, travel and hobbies. And don’t forget CD’s, DVD’s and sheet music!
Exciting new news for this year: By popular demand, the bookstore will be open on Sundays starting in June from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. To celebrate, there will be a special promotion throughout the 2025 season. Buy a book and you will be able to choose a free book from a special bin. The genre of the giveaways will be rotating every two weeks throughout the year, starting with children’s books. Visit often to see if your favorite genre may be the one featured!
