William LaBrecque of Southport just received his Second Assistant Engineer Certificate from the United States Coast Guard Merchant Mariner Credential. 

Will is a 2023 Summa Cum Laude graduate from Maine Maritime Academy. He is a 2019 graduate from Boothbay Region High School.

He is currently working at sea for a company called Stabbert Maritime. His job is 2nd Assistant Engineer on the vessel, Ocean Lee.
