Dear Editor:

Laser-focused on trimming government fat and promoting efficiency, our current Commander-in-Chief has spent 27% of his time since Jan. 20 playing golf: 17 days on the links, costing us taxpayers well over $18 million.

He is currently on track to match his first-term recreational time budget, when he spent 428 days at Trump Organization properties and played 261 rounds of golf.

At first glance, these facts might seem outrageous to any informed American citizen — but upon further reflection, they are comforting. The less time our malignant narcissist spends in the White House, the safer and less embarrassing our nation will be.

Let’s just hope he forgets to put the “nuclear football” in the back of his golf cart.
