Boothbay Region High School's Karen Higgins was the sole Seahawk to compete in the New England indoor track and field championships March 1 in Boston. Higgins placed 19th in the varsity two-mile run in 11:37.27. Emily Flagg, from Whitinsville, Massachusetts, won the event in 10:42.59.
