Golfweek names Boothbay Harbor Country Club one of the Top 100 Resort Courses in the U.S.
Golfweek Magazine recently released its 2025 list of the best courses in the United States. Following a rigorous review by Golfweek’s expert rating panel, Boothbay Harbor Country Club was named one of the Top 100 Resort Courses in the U.S.
This marks the 5th consecutive year that Boothbay Harbor Country Club has been recognized by Golfweek as one of the best resort courses in the country.
“It’s truly an honor to be included on this prestigious list of the best courses in the US,” said owner Paul Coulombe. “For BHCC to be on a list with such iconic courses like Pebble Beach and Pinehurst is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team. Our team has worked diligently, year after year, meticulously improving the course - creating challenging holes that take advantage of our natural surroundings and beautiful vistas.
“We’re committed to excellence and to providing the best experience possible for our members and guests. Guests who stay in one of our Cottages or Golf Villages enjoy membership benefits with us, which provides a unique and immersive experience. These are typically weekly stays, however, this spring we’re offering shorter-term stay and play options with 2-night and 3-night stays. We encourage you to come experience all that beautiful Boothbay Harbor has to offer.”
“Golfweek’s Best courses are judged by the publication’s national panel of 800-plus raters,” said Jason Lusk of Golfweek. “The raters focus on the quality of shaping and conditioning, and the experience as a whole. Any course that ranks inside Golfweek’s Best top 100 resort courses is worthy of further inspection and almost certain to provide a great round of golf. There are no sure things in life, but a day on any of these courses comes close.”
