Freedom Auto serves Community Lunch
The snow didn't slow anyone down for this week's Community Lunch. Over 60 people braved the roads to attend Freedom Auto's annual chicken casserole, house salad, rolls, and amazing homemade desserts, including lemon squares, which were worth every effort it took to get there.
Darrell Gudroe made the weekly announcements including celebrating Connie Heroy's 80th birthday! Yes people, that tiny little dynamo is 80! To know her is to love her!
Let's also not forget this is also Dee Wright's birthday week, so if you see her out and about wish her well.
Next week's lunch will be hosted by St. Andrews Village with chef Amy Ronan cooking up a storm. We welcome all to attend and encourage workers, first responders, and even fishermen to come on in and enjoy a hot meal at 11:30 a.m. every Monday until the middle of March.
Cheers
