The Community Center is seeking a dedicated and organized individual to join our team of volunteers as treasurer. Help us to manage our finances, ensuring transparency, and helping us achieve our mission. No prior experience is required, but if you have experience in finance or accounting, it’s a plus! The Community offers medical equipment such as wheelchairs, crutches, walkers, mobility aids for the bathroom, and more at no cost to you. If you have any medical equipment that you no longer need, consider donating it to us, and we will pass it along to someone in need to assist with their recovery. 

If you’re searching for a special gift, we may have just what you’re looking for. The community center has a boutique with unique items donated by the generosity of our regular visitors. These items could make a wonderful gift. Stop by, and if you see something you like, feel free to make us an offer. All proceeds will help support our work and achieve our objectives. 

Midcoast Ca$h will be offering free tax preparation on two dates: Tuesday, Feb. 25, and Saturday, March 29, at the Boothbay Town Office, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. for individuals with annual earnings up to $67,000. Appointments are required. If you're interested, we can assist you with the sign-up process at The Community Center. Join us for puzzles, games, coffee, tea and treats from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. all week! Help us enjoy our snacks without overindulging and bring your ideas. We welcome new faces and hope to see you soon!

Wednesday: Cribbage 12:30 p.m.-2 p.m.; Ladies who love to dance 10:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m.     

Thursday: Mexican Train Dominoes 10 a.m.-noon; Cribbage and Majongg 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. 

Friday: Scrabble, Rummikub and Bridge noon-2 p.m.
