Decorating the museum
Dear Editor:
The home of the Boothbay Region Historical Society (BRHS), the Elizabeth Reed House at 72 Oak St., has once again been made festive for the holiday season by Historical Society Volunteers, greatly helped by the generous donation of two beautiful evergreen wreaths by the Boothbay Region Garden Club. The Garden Club donated these wreaths in what has become a holiday tradition, and they are proudly displayed outside on the front façade of the venerable house.
This example of the cooperation between two volunteer-served community resource providers signifies the best of the community spirit that we in the Boothbay region share. Our sincere thanks and good wishes for the upcoming holiday season and the coming year.
