Boothbay football plays the defending southern conference champion in 8-man football playoff action tonight. No. 4 Boothbay travels to Old Orchard Beach in southern conference semifinal action at 6 p.m. 

The Seagulls finished 8-0 this season. This is their second consecutive undefeated regular season. Old Orchard Beach's last loss came in last season's state final to Orono.

This is Boothbay's second consecutive season facing Old Orchard Beach in the playoffs. The Seahawks (4-4) lost to OOB on Sept. 5, 68-0, at Sherman Field.

The other southern conference semifinal pits No. 2 Spruce Mountain (7-1) of Livermore Falls hosts No. 3 Telstar of Hiriam in the second semifinal on Nov. 1. The southern conference championship is Nov. 8 at the highest remaining team's home field.
