Rotary Veterans Dinner Nov. 7
Are you a veteran, active duty service member or veteran’s spouse or family member? If yes, then please let the Rotary Club and the High School Rotary Interact Club thank you for your dedication and service at our Veterans Appreciation Dinner on Thursday, Nov 7 at 6 p.m. at the Rotary Club in Boothbay Harbor. It is a fun and totally free evening dedicated to you, our country's veterans, active duty service members and families.
The High School Rotary Interact Club sent out invitations last week, but if we missed you, just call Thom at 207-619-1417 and leave your name and address. We will mail you an invitation right away. And you are invited to wear your military service insignia.
Our keynote speaker will be Mike Fritz, a local resident, who was a junior naval officer in Vietnam. He and his grandson, Trevor, recently participated in a memorable Honor Flight trip to Washington, D.C. They will speak on their Honor Flight experiences.
Jim Singer will be showing his amazing video from the Veterans Banner Project. David Patch will briefly talk about a new Veteran’s Helping Veterans project. But, the highlight of the night is when we get the chance to really thank you individually for your service to our country.
