The logo was designed by hand to reflect the heritage of the store and the island, using inspiration from historic store photos and Southport cartography. Museums today are more interactive, and the Sail, Power, and Steam Museum is jumping on board. Here's what you can look forward to on your next visit:

• A fleet of in-water vessels for classes, day sails, and private charters (in season, by reservation)

• Working boat models and a functioning scale model of a lime kiln
• Steam engines that "puff" along just like they did in their heyday.
• Volunteer opportunities to work with boats, to help in the museum, to help with events, and more.
