News and Notes from the Community Center
Please note: This Friday, November 10, The Community Center will be closed so we can honor our veterans on Veterans Day which falls on Saturday this year.
As I’m sure you know, Mary Baudo’s Balance Tips and Tricks will be completed on Nov. 13. Her last class is this coming Monday, Nov. 13. Even one class will help you learn the Tips and Tricks about keeping your balance. Mary is very experienced helping people remain healthy, active, and vertical.
Don’t forget: We have a new game in town. It’s called Rummikub. Well, it’s not a new game, but it’s new to The Community Center. Last week I mentioned a little bit of history about the game. Please come on Fridays to learn or play. Everyone is welcome.
On Saturday, Nov. 18, Lucy Cressey will be holding her Finding Your Family program from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. here at The Community Center. Have you ever been curious about your ancestors? Lucy can help you research. It’s quite amazing to discover your past.
Hint: We’re exploring a new class here hopefully to begin in late November – a gentle Yoga class for Seniors. More information to come soon.
