Boat rescued

After wind gusts over 40 knots hit the region Friday night, Nov. 11, Peter Chase found his boat had broken loose from its mooring and landed on the southern end of Harbor Island. High tide didn't arrive until 12:21 on Saturday afternoon and after several attempts Chase, along with the help of Devon Campbell, calm winds, and a king high tide, the boat was refloated at around 1 p.m., according to Jen Mitchell who filed this report.
Remember, if you don't like the weather in Maine just wait a minute or two.
