BRHS Homecoming: Parade, bonfire and dance on tap

Boothbay Region High School’s Homecoming week will continue on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, Sept. 22, 23 and 24.

The Homecoming Parade will be held Thursday at 6:15 p.m. when the four classes will be showing off their decorated floats. The parade starts at the Boothbay Harbor Municipal Building and continues up Townsend Avenue to the high school.

The Homecoming Bonfire on the BRHS grounds will be torched by the Boothbay Harbor Fire Department shortly after the parade ends.

Homecoming games on Friday will be the Seahawks hosting the Oak Hill Raiders in field hockey at 3:30 p.m. (a j.v. game is also scheduled at 5 p.m.) and the football team will host the Dirigo Cougars at 7 p.m.

BRHS students will also take part in a Homecoming Dance in the school gym on Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m.
