Dear Editor:

After enjoying the beautiful back roads of the area this week, we stopped along Route 1 for gas. As my husband was peacefully filling the tank, a man walked over and said to him,"Go ahead and get your gas, then get the (f-word) home."

To the divisive elected officials and talk show personalities who think that hate-mongering is a game to play to be re-elected or raise ratings, you are destroying our people's ability to find common ground to solve our critical challenges and protect our vulnerable democracy.

Dictators of the world watch with glee.
