Boothbay Region Art Foundation opens the season with their Annual Student Art Show on Friday, May 13! A reception for students, teachers, family and friends will be held on Sunday, May 15 from 1 – 5 p.m.
The Student Show features Southport Central School, Boothbay Region Elementary School, and Boothbay Region High School grades Pre-K through 12. A grand total of 400 young artists and 1,000 pieces of art have filled the Gallery at 1 Townsend Avenue with a myriad of unique art forms, styles and mediums.
This show is a display of original, creative and visionary works which have resulted from the lessons, assignments and encouragement from three fine-art teachers, Southport’s Andie Elwell, Jessica Nadeau at BRES, and Manon Lewis at BRHS.
The Student Show continues through Sunday, May 22. The gallery, at 1 Townsend Ave. in Boothbay Harbor is open Thursday through Sunday from 11a.m. to 5 p.m.
