Name: Erik Ward

Address: 106 Deer Run Road

Occupation: painter/builder

Education: Bachelor of Arts in Business/Finance from Thomas College

Political History (boards, committees): none

Considering the position you are running for, what do you feel are the three most pressing issues:

Property taxes – what they are, how they are calculated, and how they relate to the ordinances dictating property use, lack of younger generation being involved politically – it’s time for the next generation(s) of the community to start doing their civic duty to ensure our community thrives and grows without sacrificing who we are. How the various town boards work together for the benefit of the community as a whole.

Any other thoughts on why you are running or what you can bring to the office:

I’m running largely because I feel it’s our civic duty, but also because I want to affect change and be a part of solutions than problems. As for what I can bring to the office is concerned, it’s pretty simple: open mindedness, a deep love of community and area, and a desire to see it grow and prosper while not losing the small-town feel or its natural splendor.
