Twenty-five years ago this month, then-Gov. Angus King came to Boothbay on his motorcycle to help celebrate and dedicate the new Boothbay Fire Station. The Boothbay Region Alumni-Community Band, led by Katherine Cook, performed and residents turned out to enjoy the ceremonies.
