Mary Knapp wins BRHS Project Graduation bench
Kerrin Erhard, Boothbay Region High School librarian, held the basket of raffle ticket entries and Larry Brown, Boothbay Harbor police officer, who donated the raffle prize to help the BRHS Class of 2021 raise money for its Project Graduation trip, drew the winning ticket this week.
The winner was Mary Knapp, grandmother of BRHS senior Ben Pearce and a secretary at Boothbay Region Elementary School.
Project Graduation raised $1,780 from the bench raffle ticket sales. Officer Brown donated the bench made from the old bleachers in the high school gym.
The fundraising for the seniors’ Project Graduation weekend trip to the New England Outdoor Center continues. Those who would like to contribute can send a check made out to BRHS Project Graduation. The mailing address is: BRHS, 236 Townsend Ave., Boothbay Harbor, ME 04538.
