The Boothbay Harbor Yacht Club Kayakers, led by Sharma Schacknow, drove to nearby Port Clyde for a two-hour paddle on Wednesday, July 29.
Port Clyde Kayaks participants gave the safety presentation and the group paddled six miles past the historic N.C Wyeth house, between the Caldwell Islands, and partially around Hupper Island.
The weather was gorgeous, the seas were calm, and sharks were nowhere to be seen.
