Linekin Bay Resort hosts 2019 Centennial Celebration

Tue, 07/30/2019 - 5:00pm

Staff, guests, and the community joined together to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Linekin Bay Resort July 26-28. From pickle ball tournaments, to a weekend filled with live music from Ben Betts, Those Guys, and The CarLeans, a BBQ Pig Roast, centennial trivia, and a fireworks spectacular to remember, Linekin Bay Resort certainly felt the love this past weekend.

Linekin Bay Resort commissioned a painting for the centennial celebration by non other than local artist, Brad Betts of Down East Gallery in Edgecomb. The painting overlooks the front lawn of Main Lodge, the pool, and the Deck Bar & Grill. It was unveiled during the celebration, and will be on display in the Welcome Center at LBR for all to enjoy. Previous owners, Peter and Kristina Branch, were recognized by Scott Larson, partner of Linekin Bay Holdings, and gifted a framed commemorative poster of the painting.

From the early days as a girls’ summer camp to a community favorite that welcomes back generations of families’ year after year, Linekin Bay Resort understands the importance of classic Maine family vacations and oceanfront dining, and will continue to do so for the next 100 years.
