Sally Lloyd, Director of the Boothbay Harbor Yacht Club Junior Sailing Program, has announced that the spring session of the High School Club Sailing Program will begin the week of April 8. Participation in the program is open to all youth of the region, including Damariscotta, Newcastle and Wiscasset who have an interest in sailing.

The club sails daily Monday through Thursday and participates in inter-club regattas on weekends throughout April and May. The program is underwritten and operated by the Boothbay Harbor Yacht Club Junior Program with the support of the BHYC Junior Program Foundation. Participants sail in the clubs 420 racing two-man boats, and in the spring season, they wear dry suits to offset the cold winter water.
