The Boothbay Region High School boys improved to 8-0 with an easy 100-29 win over the winless (0-8) Carrabec Cobras in Mountain Valley Conference basketball action Saturday in North Anson.

After three consecutive wins where they scored over 90 points, the Seahawks will begin a series of more challenging games beginning Wednesday, Jan. 9 when they host the top-seeded Hall-Dale Bulldogs (6-1). The Bulldogs’ only loss was at Mountain Valley, 63-53. Boothbay will host Mountain Valley Jan. 15.
