The Boothbay boys basketball team scored another victory defeating Mountain Valley Conference rival Richmond, 63-34, at Porter Memorial Gymnasium Dec. 20. The Seahawks soared to an early double digit lead in the first quarter which grew to over 20 points in the second. Boothbay was so dominant that all 11 players saw action in the first half.

The Seahawks’ leading scorer was Hunter Crocker with 17. Other Boothbay scorers were Nicholas Morley with 10, Kaleb Ames with nine, Steve Reny with eight, Michael Hollowell with seven, Ben Pearce with six, Brett Hollowell with two and Stephen Bennett with one.

Boothbay is 5-0. Richmond drops to 1-5. Boothbay’s next game is Friday, at 5 p.m. against Telstar in Bethel. The Rebels are 0-4.
