Y to begin Rock Steady Boxing

The Boothbay Region YMCA will begin a new program in mid-June.
Rock Steady Boxing, which improves the lives of people battling Parkinson’s disease through non-contact, boxing-inspired fitness training, will run from June 19 through Aug. 23. Introductory classes will be held June 12 and 14.
The class will be led by Nick Rippy, a certified Rock Steady Boxing instructor. It will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
The 10-week Rock Steady Boxing program is free for members and $100 for non-members.
