Boothbay honored seven lacrosse seniors who played their final home game May 25. Many played all four years since the school began a team. Boothbay competed in Maine Principals’ Association competition the past three seasons. The Class of 2018 has qualified for the MPA tournament all three seasons and compiled a 28-8 record.

Emily Amaral played one lacrosse season. She will attend the University of Maine next season. Page Brown was the team’s starting goalie the past four seasons. She will attend Saint Joseph College with a dual major in history and secondary education. She will also play for the Monks’ basketball team. Evy Case is a four-year starter. Next fall, she will study chemical engineering at Worcester Polytechnic Institute.  Summer Chamberlin began with the team four years ago and played for three seasons. She will attend Bowdoin College studying government and legal studies.

Jackie McLoon is a four-year starter. She will study cosmetology at the Paul Mitchell School in Florida. Sydney Meader is the school’s all-time leading lacrosse and field hockey scorer. She is a four-year starter. Meader will attend the University of Maine next fall and play field hockey. JoAnna Shaw is a two-year player. She will study biology next fall at William Smith College. Shaw will also play field hockey for the Herons.
